DUOD III

"DUOD" is a concert series curated by Tarmo Johannes, focusing on music for flute and another performer. Throughout the season, Tarmo Johannes collaborates with four outstanding musicians: Merje Roomere (violin), Fie Schouten (bass clarinet, Netherlands), Iris Oja (voice), and Gunnhildur Einarsdottir (harp, Iceland/Germany).

In the third concert, his partner will be Iris Oja (voice).

Tatjana Kozlova-Johannes – Part II from the chamber opera "söövitab.tuhk" (2022) for flute and voice
Edith Canat de Chizy – "Litanie" (1982) for alto flute and mezzo-soprano
Age Veeroos – "Enesekaotus" (2002) for alto flute and mezzo-soprano
Salvatore Sciarrino – "Immagine Fenicia" (1996/2000) for amplified flute
Beat Furrer – "auf tönernen füssen" (2001) for amplified flute and voice

The concerts are organized in collaboration with the Estonian Contemporary Music Centre and take place at the ECCM hall, offering carefully selected contemporary chamber music performed at a high artistic level.
